Call For Volunteers - BC HRMA Annual Conference

BC HRMA is looking for a few enthusiastic individuals to volunteer at our upcoming conference and showcase, “Building Business Results: the People Equation”, from May 9 to 11^th at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre.

If you are a member in good standing with the BC HRMA, you have 20 hours to spare, and you want to expand your business network in BC, we’d love to have you join our conference team! Dates and time slots that we are looking to fill include:

Wednesday, May 9:
8:00am to 5:00pm: Provide assistance as required to the official conference photographer (help w/ equipment, scouting sites, etc.)

8:00am to 5:00pm - Manage on-site water stations, provide other assistance as required

8:30am to 11:30am; 1:30pm to 4:30pm - Manage delegate registration at various breakout sessions

Thursday, May 10:
8:00am to 5:00pm - Provide assistance as required to the official conference photographer (help w/ equipment, scouting sites, etc.)

8:00am to 5:00pm - Manage on-site water stations, provide other assistance as required

7:00am to 11:00am; 11:00am to 3:00pm; 3:00pm to 6:00pm - Staff the BC HRMA booth in the conference showcase area

10:30am to noon; 1:30pm to 3:30 pm; 3:30pm to 5:00pm - Manage delegate registration at various breakout sessions

Friday, May 11:
8:00am to 12:00 noon - Provide assistance as required to the official conference photographer (help w/ equipment, scouting sites, etc.)

8:00am to 12:00 noon - Manage on-site water stations, provide other assistance as required

9:00am to 10:30am; 11:00a to 12:30pm - Manage delegate registration at various breakout sessions

Volunteers will be provided full access to all VCEC conference sessions (except the IMAX lunch and the Wednesday night Mystery Dinner) at no charge PLUS you’ll have the opportunity to network at BC’s largest HR conference! This is a wonderful opportunity to stay involved in the HR community at a strategic level and meet hundreds of other HR practitioners, and has helped many an HR professional expand their networks.
